 Chef's Roll Contest, Point Loma

We had an exciting September serving up our specialty rolls participating in the Sushi Lounge Roll Contest! Thank you to all who ordered and tasted. The tallies were so close!

Congratulations to Chef Julio in Poway for his Fiesta Roll, Chef David in Encinitas for his Banh Mi Roll, and Chef Frank in Point Loma for his Yin Yang Roll!

These 3 winning rolls will be available at all of our locations during the month of October to determine the grand prize winner.

Inside: cajun grilled shrimp, cilantro, lump crab 
On top: tuna, halibut, avocado, salsa fresca, ponzu

The “Bahn Mi” Roll
Inside: spicy tuna, serrano chili, gobo, cucumber
On top: hamachi, avocado, pickled red onion, cilantro, spicy aioli

The “Yin Yang” Roll 
Inside: spicy albacore, tempura shishitos, cucumber 
On top: peppered tuna, cajun albacore, avocado, fried sweet onion, micro greens, garlic ponzu, lemon wasabi aioli, sriracha 
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We will happily donate $1 from each winning roll in all 3 locations to the Breast Cancer Angels' San Diego Chapter.
